Beach Bums Burgers
Well it started when I was called "Wimpy" as a little boy, of course referring to the nostalgic Popyee character at least I'd like to think that. His catch phrase was I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a burger today! That stuck with me during my college years and military years. Over the past few years family and friends periodically asked "Why dont you open your own food truck since you love burgers so much"?
But the question was what do we call the business? Well that's where Laura comes in. She and I were hanging out at the beach one day and I made a statement "Isn't this awesome? We are just on the beach bummin' out." And she turned to me and said, "Thats it! Beach Bums Burgers!
Common Theory Public House
Inspired by a group of friends who are always in search of great food, quality craft beers, and an overall good time, Common Theory will appeal to the local crowd and the casual connoisseur from other parts of San Diego by featuring 30-34 craft beers on tap. The rotating selection of craft beers will derive from many of the local San Diego breweries, breweries up and down the coast of California, and sometimes from other parts of the states. Our philosophy in beer selection is that there is always something available for everyone, but if there isn't we will try our best to find you a beer that suits the palate. Please note that apply the literal meaning of "rotating selection"; although our beer lines are designated to certain styles, the brewery and beer names will always rotate!!! Being in the Craft Beer Capital of the world, we strive to keep the draft beer system clean by performing regular maintenance and cleaning in order to pour our customers a clean, crisp, and tasteful glass of beer.

Abnormal Beer Company
Abnormal Beer Company is a small microbrewery located in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego County. The glass-enclosed brewery is located under the same roof as a winery, beer/wine bar, and restaurant serving highly refined comfort food. The brewery currently has a 10bbl brewhouse with four 20bbl uni-tanks and will sell its products inside the restaurant and to select beer bars locally. The Head Brewer and Beer Curator for the draft list is Derek Gallanosa.
Derek Gallanosa has a well rounded skillset that he applies to multiple aspects of the business. While pursuing a Business Degree in Marketing from Cal State University, San Marcos, Derek taught himself how to brew beer after witnessing his friend’s dad homebrew in his backyard. After graduation he put his efforts into finding a job in the Craft Beer Industry. After months of looking he was finally given an opportunity by Karl Strauss Brewing Company in San Diego. During his four years there, Derek worked his way up from Assistant Brewer to Brewer to Sales Representative. It was then when the owners of Abnormal Wine Company started to look for someone with experience to run their soon to be brewing operations.
Absolution Brewing Company
As the world grows in its understanding of what beer can and should be, no longer imprisoned by the tasteless, unfilling beers of the recent past, it craves beer made with sincere passion and an unwavering boldness of flavor. And to provide that beer is our mission.

Absolution Brewing Company is a labor of love for three friends that have a passion for delicious craft beer. Nigel is an English gent that found his way to the West Coast more than two decades ago. Steve is a local boy, born and raised in the South Bay Los Angeles area with deep ties throughout the community. Wes is from the swamps of Louisiana and discovered Southern California via the Navy. Individually, we are but mere beer drinkers in love with the craft. Together, we are a team dedicated to fulfilling our dreams to bring the best beers to the world that others may feel the passion on their palates.

Belching Beaver Brewery
Belching Beaver does not brew good beer. We brew truly great beer. Currently, we are crafting distinct beers that range from IPA to sours and more, which are sure to please anyone’s tastes. Our first priority is using quality ingredients to create the beer recipes at our microbrewery. When we decided to move forward with the brewery, we told Troy (our head brewer) not to worry about how much money we were spending on ingredients. With a name like Belching Beaver, we better have great beer or we would be the biggest joke in town. We contracted our hops before we found a location or even bought equipment. I told Troy that I would throw any beer out and delay opening unless it was perfect. In truth, we had no worries because Troy makes great beer. He did not disappoint! As my wife would say, “It’s fabulous.” Our customers say, “They’re all fabulous.” As Dave would say…well he would sniff out each aroma hop, and then describe the grapefruit flavors, the honey overtones and the crisp clean orange peel that delights the palate. I just say, “Man, great beer!”
Bitter Brothers Brewing Co.
There's a certain satisfaction in bitterness. But we won’t let the cup of life pass us by untasted - especially if it’s full of frothy irreverence. Nope, the glass is always half full at Bitter Brothers Brewing Company, our brand new 3,200-square-foot production brewery and tasting room in the Napa Valley of craft beer: San Diego, California.
So who are the Bitter Brothers, you ask?
Bill Warnke, the older “Bitter Brother” and Kurt Warnke, the younger “Bitter Brother” are two brothers from the Midwest who grew up bitter and remained so until they discovered the joys of great craft beer. And so began the brothers' quest to provide the same social experience to others.
Bitter Brothers produces distinct brews ranging in hop character, flavor and style. Sip and (hopefully) savor one in our tasting room. Or better yet, try them all - we won’t judge. In fact, we’ll respect you more. Because at Bitter Brothers, we believe you’re only as good as the great beer you drink.
So fill up more than halfway and join us on our journey to make bitter even better.
Breakwater Brewing Co.
Great food and amazing house brews , and 39 total beers this is just a positive new addition to downtown Oceanside, just blocks from the pier. Perfect for family and friends.
Common Cider Company
We don’t brew ciders, we craft moments. If it has anything to do with bringing people together, sparking conversation, bolstering friendships, and creating memories, it has everything to do with our approach to cider.
Just ask Fran.
As founder of Common Cider, Fran Toves was inspired into the cider realm by a simple desire: to utilize her foodies’ passion for flavor experimentation and her love of shared times to create something rare and delicious. Her dream was a portfolio of ciders painstakingly designed to pair beautifully with food while moving people to find common ground and celebrate the simple act of being human.
In 2012, Fran shared her dream with the world at homebrew competition in Reno, NV. And the response, three ciders placing in the top 10, was all the validation she needed to go all in. Thus Common Cider was born.
In Fran’s world, flavor is everything. Surprising flavor, adventurous flavor, flavor as gift to one’s family and friends. And it’s in the “layering of flavors,” as Fran likes to call it, where her artistry fully expressed. Only the juiciest, fresh-pressed, locally sourced apples. Only the choicest, natural fruit extracts and botanicals – local and organic wherever possible. Flavor profiles that lean more towards wine than beer. Light, crisp, a sweetness hinted but never overstated.
These are ciders that taste like poems, enjoy them in the spirit of togetherness.
Common ciders are naturally low in sugar, gluten-free, and feature slightly lower-than-typical alcohol levels (6.5%).
Coronado Brewing Co.
Brewery and Restaurant.
About Coronado Brewing Company:
In 1996, when craft beer was still a foreign term and San Diego County was home to only a handful of breweries, the Chapman brothers Ron and Rick opened a brewpub in their hometown of Coronado. CBC brews abundantly hoppy West Coast-style ales staying true to their San Diego roots. They began distributing their beers throughout the local market, and today you can find Coronado beers in 21 states across the US. In addition to their long established pub in Coronado, the company opened a tasting room inside their newly built San Diego production facility in early 2013. The past year has been very rewarding for the brewery; they opened their new tasting room and restaurant in Imperial Beach, CA. Winning Champion Mid Size Brewery and Brewmaster at World Beer Cup in Denver awarded them with one of the most prestigious distinctions in the industry.
Culture Brewing Co
Culture Brewing Co's satellite tasting room in Ocean Beach offers up to 20 beers on tap, taster flights, pints & growler fills to go. Open daily 12n - 11pm
Duck Foot Brewing Company
We love everything about beer — even the smell of it on old carpeting. No? Oh, okay. We love to brew it, look at it, talk about it, think about it, smell it (sans old carpeting) and, of course, taste it. We hope you do, too. And we’re doing our best to brew styles that suit all of our beer-drinking friends.
We know some of you like the super bitter, heavily hopped double IPAs of the world, while others like the malty sweetness that comes with some European beer styles. And some of you really don’t like either. So, our beer lineup will always feature variety: Some light-bodied, some big and strong. Some hoppy and bitter, some with a touch of biscuity, bready malt sweetness. And perhaps even some a bit on the sour side.
Gluten got you gassy? No worries. We brew ALL of our beers using a special enzyme that removes nearly all traces of gluten from the beer. Matt, one of our owners, has Celiac Disease, so rather than sob in a soda, he rectified the situation. And the Heavens opened and there was much rejoicing. Yay.
We’re always interested in trying new things so let us know if there’s something you’d like to see us brew. We’re taking a stance for better beer and hope you will, too.
Firestone Walker Brewing Co
Founded in 1996, Firestone Walker began as a small brewery with roots in California wine country. Now a regional brewery, our singular purpose remains – to craft ever better beer. Passionately in pursuit of the perfect beer…and never satisfied.
Groundswell Brewing Co.
We're native San Diegans and we are looking for beer that pairs well with food and plays well with the San Diego lifestyle. Our beers are generally in 4.0 - 8.0% ABV. Our goal is a well-balanced, flavorful session beer.
We do the hop-thing too, (and it will exceed our ABV range) but always with an exciting angle. There's a lot of great hop-forward beer in San Diego, no need for us to try to re-invent that wheel, it's working pretty well already.
If you haven't tried craft beer, what are you waiting for?! We'd love to be your first, but if not, just promise us you'll try craft. You won't miss those "other guys."
Helix Brewing Company
Helix Brewing Company began in La Mesa, CA with roots in homebrewing – we’re motivated by science, dedicated to adventure, and built by community.

Drink Helix beer with those you enjoy most and start an adventure of your own.
Iron Fist Brewing
Iron Fist Brewing Company is a family owned brewery located in Vista, California, smack-dab in the middle of the exciting San Diego craft beer scene. Our passion for the best hand crafted beer prompted us to make a lot of it. However, we quickly realized we were making a bit more than we could drink ourselves, so we decided to sell whatever we don’t drink to you. So do yourself a favor; start a little revolution. It’s ok. We won’t tell on you. Put the 500 pack of light lager back with all its buddies and rule your taste with an Iron Fist!

One taste and you will experience why Julian Hard Cider is…
”American to the Core”
Lagunitas Brewing Co.
From our earliest days of striving to make consistently good beer, and instead making beer that ranged from vile, to barely drinkable, to wonderful, to elegant, to questionable-at-best. From being castigated by our West Marin neighbors to finally suffering an 'eviction' by our West Marin septic system. From landing in the welcoming arms of Petaluma, and actually getting our beer into bottles, onto the streets, and into the hands of sympathetic beer geeks, to steadily losing less money each month. From all this and more, Lagunitas Brewing Company is emerging as a battle-tested brewery capable of making great beer out of goat's milk, brambles, and asphalt on the surface of the Moon, if need be.
Come visit our tasting room with the full brew house on display in the beautiful and historic Wonderbread Building.
We're right across the street from Petco Park Tailgate parking lot and are open 2 hours before first pitch on game days.
Mother Earth Brew Co.
Founded in 2010 by three passionate brewers, Mother Earth Brew Co. had one goal; to create distinguished, hand crafted beers that stimulate sensory conversation and a desire for the next sip.
