Join us in our continued search to find the best taco at our second Tacotopia at the Track on Sunday September 3,2017 at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. Try signature tacos from more than 40 of the best restaurants and food trucks from San Diego, TJ and LA as they compete for your vote for 'Best Taco'. Each attendee will be given a token to place in the voting box of their favorite vendor. The vendor with the most votes wins, and winners will be announced live at the end of the event! While you eat your weight in tacos, you can also enjoy live music and the excitement of the races. The event will take place from 1pm-4pm, the party will be happening, rain or shine.

Tickets will include admission to the races, and the Steve Aoki concert on Sunday September 3, 2017. EVENT ADMISSION IS FOR 18+ ONLY! Choose from two ticket options:

General Admission: 18+ only. Valid from 1PM-4PM and includes tacos from all participating vendors. Discounted pre-sale tickets available for a limited time.

VIP Ticket: 18+ only. Valid from 12PM-4PM (early admittance) and includes tacos from all participating vendors. Discounted pre-sale tickets available for a limited time.  THIS EVENT WILL LIKELY SELL OUT AND TICKETS MAY NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR, CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES!

Please bring a hard copy of your Tacotopia at the Track ticket to The Reader booth at will-call. Will-Call will be near the Run Admission Gates (look for signage), in order to receive your wristband and an entry ticket to the races. 

Admission for this event is 18+ ONLY. No pets allowed. RAIN OR SHINE.

After being a professional DJ for about 8 years, he decided to take his love & dedication of food to the next level by attending Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena in ’07. Once he graduated, he worked at some of the best restaurants around LA: Providence Restaurant (chef de Partie; Monsieur Marcel (Executive Sous Chef); Joe’s Restaurant in Abbott Kinney (Chef de Partie); Hatfield’s (Chef de Tournant); CASA Restaurant (Executive Sous Chef); as well as stints with Spago and Wolfgang Puck Catering. When it comes to his Mascarpone Cheesecakes, he created his recipe in ’07 and started selling them in 2015 (within weeks was mentioned in an online article for Los Angeles Magazine), has been featured in many food festivals (Tacolandia, Burgers & Beer, Taste Of Mexico) with 4 vendors currently selling his creations, which include: Primera Taza Coffee House in Boyle Heights; Tlayuda LA in East Hollywood; Gloria’s Restaurant in Huntington Park; and Colonia Publica in Uptown Whittier.
